nice to see that!
I hope 11.04 can steal some hearts. To bad I can't install it on my laptop, I need to get more drivespace first.. (which is hard since windoze has some corrupted sectors and gparted doesn't want to do it..) Anyways, I've used the 11.04 BETA 2 on my parents computer and I hope Natty can convince more companies. Its a great way to boost productivity in a fun way (or at least, that's what it's supposed to do). I read the following on ubuntu.com: "My Ubuntu setup is faster than a PC and prettier than a Mac..." - The Times. Sounds like a good point to start! woutervddn Date: Thu, 28 Apr 2011 23:33:49 +0200 From: jean7...@gmail.com To: ubuntu-be@lists.ubuntu.com Subject: [Ubuntu-be] LVM insurance company switches 10, 000 systems to Ubuntu 10.04 LTS For your information, found in seniorennet.be [Computer - Linux]: German insurers LVM Versicherung are bringing Ubuntu to their desktops: all field staff and the majority of workplaces at the company's headquarters in Münster now use the Ubuntu Desktop 10.04.2 LTS operating system on their laptops and desktop computers, LVM divisional director Wim Bollen told The H's associates at heise Open. http://www.h-online.com/open/news/item/LVM-insurance-company-switches-10-000-systems-to-Ubuntu-10-04-LTS-1233194.html -- jean7491 Ubuntu Belgium Events Team -- ubuntu-be mailing list / mailto:ubuntu-be@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-be
