Hello all Since quite some time we were talking about our own, customised, ubuntu image.
The Dutch translation team has made something similar, and they have put the changes they made to the cd on launchpad: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-defaults-nl-team Maybe we can take a look at this and use this as a base for our Belgian image (which should, amongst other things, also include French). I don't know how much customised this is, due to examns I havn't really had time to check it out, but I thought this could be usefull for those who are working on this subject. De belangrijkste wijzigingen zijn het toevoegen van een aantal radiostations, en het verplaatsen van alle code naar een launchpad team [1]. Dit betekent dat iedereen de aanpassingen die gedaan zijn kan nakijken, wat bij de eerste release van de Nederlandse iso's nog een probleem was. Ik heb zelf een langzame internet verbinding, dus iedereen die kan en wil helpen met het seeden van de torrents is welkom. Hoewel de torrent download niet heel populair blijkt, wordt de directe download vanaf de ubuntu-nl site wel veel gebruikt. Naar schatting zijn er momenteel zo'n duizend actieve gebruikers van de Nederlandse images. Als er vragen of opmerkingen zijn hoor ik het graag.
