loco.ubuntu.com authentication fails with nickname error

Bug description:
I get a Personal Data Request page and I click "Yes, log me in", and then I
am shown a login failure page from the loco.ubuntu.com site with this error
alone:
An attribute required for logging in was not returned (nickname).
I'd be happy to select a nickname, but I don't see that option in my
account settings for Ubuntu One.
