Engraçado, onde foi parar o alsaconf? Nas notas de versão[1] não
tem nada falando sobre qualquer alteração do alsaconf em nenhum
release!
Por favor, se alguém souber onde está o alsaconf entre em contato
urgente com está lista :)
De qualquer forma já tentou reconfigurar o pacote:
$sudo dpkg-reconfigure alsa
