Vá no shell e digite *man apt-get *Lá vc tem as opções do apt-get
Poderia fazer: sudo apt-get remove synaptic e depois um sudo apt-get install synaptic Ou poderia fazer um sudo apt-get purge synaptic e depois, sudo apt-get install synaptic Retorne se der certo.
