Pessoal instalei o ubuntu aqui em mais uma maquina, ela temum geforce mx 4000, instalei os drivers seguiten estes passos
$ sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx $ sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-new $ nvidia-xconfig -add-argb-glx-visuals -d 24 -composite -allow-glx-with-composite *$ nvidia-settings* a primeira vez funcionou, depois quando reiniciei a maquina disse que o ubuntu estava carregando com uma baixa resolução e agora nao consigo reconfigurar, a resolusao so fica em 800x600, senpre que tento entrar no "*nvidia-settings" da a seguitne mensagem: You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit yout X configuration file ( just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server. To meio perdido, alguem pode me ajudar ?
