Just upgraded from Karmic to Lucid (distupgrade), with all the latest patches and packages.
I can report that I've experienced the same issue as in post #78, with the same output. The advice in post #11 was to reduce the number of entries in /etc/hosts and this worked for me. Unfortunately this means that ad blocking using the hosts file is not possible, so I will not be using gwibber, or any other app that requires couchdb :( Sorry, this is just an unacceptable issue. -- desktopcouch-service crashed with RuntimeError in run_couchdb() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/530541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bug Control, which is a subscriber of a duplicate bug. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-bugcontrol Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-bugcontrol More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
