Public bug reported:
openfact 6.0.0-1 has been in stonking-proposed for 68 days. It's part of
the facter -> openfact transition of the puppet stack (openfact now also
builds the facter binary package). Remaining autopkgtest regressions
(amd64, amd64v3, arm64, armhf, ppc64el):
- facter/unknown: badpkg ("rules extract failed"), because the facter source no
longer exists
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-stonking/stonking/amd64/f/facter/20261011_090540_45c5e@/log.gz
- facterdb/1.12.1-1build1: test deps unsatisfiable, needs facter (< 5.0.0)
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-stonking/stonking/amd64/f/facterdb/20261011_090714_dd51c@/log.gz
- ruby-rspec-puppet-facts/2.0.3-1: test deps (facter, facterdb, puppet)
uninstallable
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-stonking/stonking/amd64/r/ruby-rspec-puppet-facts/20261011_090638_3d3f0@/log.gz
- ruby-puppetserver-ca-cli/2.7.0-3: covered separately by the removal request
LP: #2170786
Related: puppet-agent 8.10.0-6ubuntu1 (50 days in proposed, LP:
#2077502, #2164903, #2165065) needs to move together with it.
Debian testing already has openfact 6.0.0-1 and puppet-agent
9.0.0~rc1-1.
Deferred to next cycle: too large a transition for the day before the
stonking release.
