This bug is no longer reproducible since it is now masked by the fix for https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-hwe/+bug/2164849
This bug is now fix upstream (https://salsa.debian.org/debian/init- system-helpers/-/merge_requests/38) and I think there is no need to SRU as of now since we cannot reproduce it.
