Hi Ross, Thanks for the suggestion! I installed and booted kernel 7.0.0-34-generic, but unfortunately the touchpad still doesn't work.
So far I've tested: 6.8.0-146-generic: not working 7.0.0-34-generic: not working 7.0.0-38-generic: not working I also found that my BIOS was updated from 1.44 to 1.51 on October 12, shortly before I noticed the touchpad issue. The touchpad had always worked normally before, including on Ubuntu 26.04. I haven't confirmed whether the BIOS update caused the problem, but I'm wondering if it could be related to the I2C initialization errors. Would you recommend testing an even older kernel, or investigating the BIOS update first?
