Public bug reported:

[Impact]
Several ASUS laptops carry their keyboard on an I2C-HID device with ID
0B05:4B42, the same ID as the Zenbook A16 (UX3607OA). Since the A16 support was
added (LP: #2170055), hid-asus claims this ID with I2C_KEYBOARD_QUIRKS. That
set includes QUIRK_NO_CONSUMER_USAGES, which drops every HID Consumer usage
except mute and volume.

The A16 reports its hotkeys on the ASUS vendor page, but these keyboards
report brightness as the standard Consumer usages Display Brightness
Increment (0x6f) and Display Brightness Decrement (0x70). With hid-asus
bound, the brightness keys (F5/F6) produce no input events and the panel
brightness cannot be changed from the keyboard.

The failure is intermittent across boots. When hid-generic binds the
keyboard before hid-asus loads, the keys work; once hid-asus claims the
device, they stop working.

[Fix]
Let Consumer usages 0x6f and 0x70 through the QUIRK_NO_CONSUMER_USAGES filter
in asus_input_mapping(), so hid-input maps them to KEY_BRIGHTNESSUP and
KEY_BRIGHTNESSDOWN. Keyboards that do not report these usages are unaffected.

keyboard")
