Public bug reported:

1) Ubuntu-Mate 26.10
2) 4.1.3+dfsg-1ubuntu2
3) Transmission to open
4) No gtk app opening, DRI3 Failure
Fresh installed Ubuntu-Mate 26.10 for compatability testing, and after seeing
it worked, I wanted to start torrenting out the iso file, but found that
transmission wasn't turning on. I tried reinstalling Transmission-GTK from
terminal, with no luck, so I tried running it via cli to get debug reports, and
this is what I got.

joseph-hayden@joseph-hayden-ubuntu-mate:~$ transmission-gtk
MESA-EGL: warning: DRI3 error: Could not get DRI3 device
MESA-EGL: warning: Ensure your X server supports DRI3 to get accelerated
rendering
MESA-EGL: warning: DRI3: Failed to initialize

I did not change the display instance, it's default marco, so I am
unsure what's really causing this error.
