Public bug reported:

My Ubuntu desktop became unresponsive after I pressed Shift+Print Screen
while the browser's three-dot menu was open.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a web browser (it worked in Brave and Chrome)
2. Click the three-dot menu in the browser toolbar
3. Press Shift+Print Screen while the browser's three-dot menu was open

Result: The screenshot selection interface did not appear. The mouse
cursos's appearance changed when moved outside the browser window, but I
could not interact with applications. The desktop became unresponsive,
and I had to force a restart.
