Public bug reported:
During a 24.04-to-26.04 upgrade, installation initially failed because
/lib32 was a dangling symlink. After repairing /usr/lib32 and
successfully upgrading base-files, APT reports no broken installed
dependencies. However, simulated dist-upgrade transactions consistently
report Conf Broken sudo-common:amd64 and Conf Broken coreutils-from-
uutils:amd64. The system remains partially upgraded.
