Well, I still can't figure this out. Changing "control. template" allows
me to issue either a "make" or "sh make.sh" command, but once files are
generated, I don't know how to install them. Trying to use module-
assistant just fails like it did before. I even unpacked the tarball,
modified "control.template," and then repackaged it as fglrx.tar.bz2,
but m-a still fails. So I can't generate a deb package. If there's a
manual way to copy the needed files, please post how to do that. I did
put fglrx.ko in my kernel's
/lib/modules/"my_kernel"/kernel/drivers/char/drm directory. But I there
were several *.o files generated by make, also. Thanks for any more help
on this.
