Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg

On two separate machines that I upgraded from breezy to dapper, one
desktop and one laptop, the computer will occasionally stop responding
to mouse clicks. Focus-follows-mouse also fails (i.e. I move the mouse
over a different window and the focus doesn't move to that window).
Moving the mouse still works.

Pressing Alt+Tab causes the computer to resume responding to the mouse,
without cycling window focus.

I'm reporting this on xserver-xorg because each machine uses a different
mouse driver -- the laptop uses the 'synaptics' driver while the desktop
uses the standard 'mouse' module.

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
