Public bug reported:

Dapper Final, fully updated. Using a Dell Inspiron 510m
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/DellInspiron510m). I'll
attach xorg.conf.

I think that my touchpad is an ALPS using the synaptics xorg driver.

I am taking the list of what my touchpad should do from the features
list of http://web.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/ (reproduced on the
LaptopTesting page above)

Horizontal scrolling does not seem to work for me. Vertical scrolling
does (now) but running my finger along the bottom of the touchpad does
not horizontally scroll in Firefox or GEdit and it does not give button
six and seven events in xev.

Any questions, just ask :).

** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
