Public bug reported: Dapper Final, fully updated. Using a Dell Inspiron 510m (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/DellInspiron510m). I'll attach xorg.conf.
I think that my touchpad is an ALPS using the synaptics xorg driver. I am taking the list of what my touchpad should do from the features list of http://web.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/ (reproduced on the LaptopTesting page above). Tapping the touchpad with three fingers does not produce a button 3 event in xev (and does not right-click). ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed ** Attachment added: "xorg.conf" http://librarian.launchpad.net/3084561/xorg.conf -- Dell Inspiron 510m: touching with 3 fingers does not right-click https://launchpad.net/bugs/50087 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
