I confirm this hang on booting. I just upgraded to linux 686...-25 and now i got a hang for 2-3 minutes on "mounting the root filesystem".
Before I used the kernel 386....-23. I even noticed that coming back from suspend(sleep) takes longer now than before, but I might be wrong.
