Public bug reported:

The latest repository version of egroupware doesn't work "out of the box" with
an Ubuntu 6.06 LAMP server install.
Package dependencies should include php5 instead of php4, since I believe it's
the source of the problem (php4 doesn't "see" the server's mySQL5 database).

Perhaps a different set of packages could be produced to include php5 as
a dependency? Like a egroupware-core-php5 / egroupware-core-php4 set of
packages?

Steps to reproduce:
- Install Ubuntu LAMP server (with the special "install a LAMP server" from the
server install disk)
- [sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade] (So that everything is up
to date, including the kernel)
- Install egroupware from universe repositories ([sudo apt-get install
egroupware]).
- Installation proposes many dependency packages, including php4.
- Installing everything suggested will not work.
