Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-app-install
If one clicks "ok" in gnome-app-install to install software, and another package manager is open, an error is given (which is the correct behavior), then the program is terminated and all selections are lost (which is not correct behavior.) Upon issuing an error, the program should roll back to the state it was in just before the user clicked "ok", giving the user the chance to close synaptic without punishing the user by forcing them to reopen the program and reselect the packages to be installed. ** Affects: gnome-app-install (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Unexpected behavior when another package manager is open https://launchpad.net/bugs/51620 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
