Public bug reported:

While upgrading from breezy to dapper on a box without module-init-tools
(runs a modular-less kernel), I ran into this:

Setting up linux-sound-base (1.0.10-4ubuntu4) ...
ln: creating symbolic link `/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-oss' to
`/lib/linux-sound-base/noOSS.modprobe.conf': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing linux-sound-base (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 linux-sound-base

I guess linux-sound-base should either be more resilient to the
directory not existing or depend on module-init-tools.

** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
