Make and Model: Lexmark Z52 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.0-rc2 Using only black ink cartridge.
Updated from the test repo "deb http://www.grad.hr/~ivoks/ubuntu/gutenprint ./" Definitely an improvement - there is now ink on the paper, but the print quality is terrible. At 600dpi, it's print appears in stripes - about a cm across, then a 1/2 cm is blank, repeated down the page. 1200dpi is very faint, and 2400dpi is non existent.
