Public bug reported: Binary package hint: konqueror
I'm on Kubuntu 6.06 (386), and I can't open Microsoft's site in Konqueror. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Konqueror 2. Load the Kubuntu Web profile (Settings -> Load View Profile -> Kubuntu Web). If you clicked the Konqueror button next to the K and System menus on the panel, you can probably skip this step. 3. Enter http://www.microsoft.com/ in the address bar and press Enter. Note that this only happens with the Kubuntu Web profile. If I enter the URL while using Konqueror as a file manager, or if I start konqueror by running the command "konqueror" from the terminal, it doesn't crash. If, however, I run Konqueror from the menu or the panel (which both execute "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing") or explicitly switch to the Kubuntu Web profile (step 2, above), then it crashes. Here's a backtrace (sans a hundred or so lines of "(no debugging symbols found)"): (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
