I think I am experiencing the same bug. Steps to reproduce:
- Launch empathy - Edit ยป Personal Information - Select ICQ account - Click the empty avatar image - Select a picture in the file open dialog Expected result: - The selected image is used Actual result: - Empathy crashes with "*** glibc detected *** empathy: free(): invalid pointer: 0xb7e8dff4 *** [...]" in the console (attaching).
