I Could only test this with the bootable CD. Twice of three times the laptop hang on shutdown, though I did not see the strange (dangerous) very very bright screen. The test is not perfect because the shutdown sequence isn't exactly the same as on on installed version (which I can't test at this time). I still suspect the change of graphical modes to be the cause (as mentioned before). It was tested with 2.6.27. Testing 2.6.26 isn't possible because the alpha 4 iso is removed.
