Public bug reported:
1. system - preferences - keyboard - keyboard tab
2. tick 'repeat keys'
3. type in the box
result:
1. for each key pressed, two of each letter appear on key-down, like tthhiiss.
2. when held down continuously, no further letters appear.
3. i'm starting to develop rsi from having to tapping the backspace key
repeatedly any time i want to delete a whole word. dag'nabit.
expected result:
one letter at a time please, unless i hold down the key, in which case a
working repeat would be nice.
this bug is something to do with x or gnome. keyboard repeat works fine
on a virtual terminal.
