Dapper is working fine (with vesa driver) in my Dell Inspiron 5160 and i was multi-booting it with XP and Vista. I removed Vista to install Edgy using LiveCD and i hit the black screen. I upgraded Dapper, upgrade went thru but again hit black screen. Xorg was installed along with all the drivers including vesa but still got black screen.Reinstalled Dapper. My Video card is XGI VOLARI XP5. Installed Edgy on VMWare in my XP, without any issues.
