Public bug reported:
Hello, fisrt of all sorry for my english.
A couple of days ago I noticed that some of my gtk applications
(firefox, gnome-terminal, gedit, etc) stop working after a couple of
minutes after the starting up. I couldn't find the real cause, but I
found out that if I put down the wireless interface (ifconfig eth1 down)
then they come to life again. I think they don't work when I have
internet access.
The applications got freezed after I run them, for example: If I run
gnome-terminal the window's frame is loaded, but no the entire console. I have
to kill the process because it's totally freeze.
Something similar happens to firefox; if I run firefox then it takes like 5
minutes to show the browser, after 5 seconds it freezes again for another 5
minutes and so on..
Sorry if I don't have too much information.
