1- have an install without nautilus-image-converter and picture to resize
2- install nautilus-image-converter
3- make a right-click on a picture
what you get:
1- nothing new in the context menu
what you await:
1- the nautilus-image-converter new items in the context menu
remark:
1- I have had to restart my computer to have the benefit of
nautilus-image-converter
