The debdiff seems to work. However, I am experiencing a bug with powernowd/modprobe/linux, where sometimes during startup Ubuntu will get stuck on "Starting powernowd...". I can still switch to a different tty and do a few things, but it doesn't want to boot anymore. It seems to happen mostly after an unclean shutdown. I think this needs a separate bug, seeing as how the module will load fine at other times and do what it's supposed to.
