I have followed the Linuxwireless.org instruction according to driver B43 from linux-2.6.24. First I have removed B43-fwcutter. After installing B43, the network icon on the top of my screen next to my user-name shows the wireless networks in my neighbourhood inclusive mine. After choosing my network the icon turns around but no connection. I have installed Ndiswrapper followed the instructions from the Ubuntu HowTo, but again, no success. I see no wireless networks at all. So I have installed my old Ubuntu 7.10 and now I can wireless work again with my laptop on different places. In spite of the Ubuntu community is very hard trying to connect with the Broadcom cards, I do not think my next laptop contains Broadcom cards.
