I am crashing with the following error

~$ qsynth
Warning: no locale found: /usr/share/locale/qsynth_en_US.UTF-8.qm
Segmentation fault
~$

I am starting Qjackctl, then starting Qsynth and connecting a Keystation
61 to qsynth on the Alsa tab in qjackctl's connections. I am using
Ubuntu Studio 64 (same error in 32 bit and 64 bit installations). I can
play piano for a while, and then Qsynth just crashes (closes with only
the "Segmentation fault" error only if I start it from the prompt, there
is no error window). I am using an M-Audio Fasttrack for the Jackd
soundcard plugged into a Vaio VGN-NR160E.
