I was about to file a new bug report but found this one. I am fairly certain that from a usability point of view, this is definitely a bug. I have the open with dialog up trying to open a text file (with a .txt extension). The dialog recognises the file type, but the application listing is:
OpenOffice.org Drawing OpenOffice.org Presentation Firefox Web Browser Remote Desktop Viewer etc... This ordering makes no sense. The text editors I have installed are scattered throughout the list.
