I would like to insist on the "merits" of this incident report, in the hopes of labeling it as a (perhaps minor) bug. This is not necessarily about wishing for some new functionality; this is about not being able to remove a share from the network, which, although unlikely to happen very often, still qualifies as a bug in my opinion.
If we could find any workaround that would allow the user to identify the shared folder, I'm fine with labeling it as a "Wishlist" importance incident report. Currently, if the directory is empty and the share name is different than the directory name, there is _no way_ to remove the share unless you know exactly what the full directory name is.
