Thanks for your quick response. Could you please try running with the backported modules package (if you're not already), by installing "linux-backports-modules-hardy" from the repository. This package has a newer driver for your wireless card. Once you've tried this, could you state whether you still have the problem.
If you're already running the backported modules package, could you please try the opposite (running without).
