** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: pppoeconf

DNS number changes to 10.0.0.138 after some time of pon dsl-provider and
  Firefox stop working.

The numbers of dns of my provider here in Brazil are:
  200.204.0.10 and
  200.204.0.138

  After installing Ubuntu:
sudo pppoeconf(I say no in "connecting on boot" and "connect right now", in
the other opions I say yes)
  and so
  pon dsl-provider

Everything seems to work, but after about 30 minutes, the dns changes to
10.0.0.138 and Firefox(other browsers too) stop working.

IRC, Gaim and others keep working(I don't know why)

I change it again in "Network Settings" to 200.204.0.10
But after 30 minutes, the problem happen again. It's very boring.

  Ubuntu 6.06
+ ADSL connection
  I have two ethernet devices:
  eth0
  eth1
  I connect using eth1.
