Public bug reported: My HP dv9000 Notebook (AMD Turion X2) is unable to boot without me pressing any key. Up until kernel version 2.6.26 this worked without trouble.
After printing an error message that apparently belongs to Bug #246269 [ 2.412814] uvesafb: Getting VBE info block failed (eax=0x4f00, err=-3) [ 2.412814] uvesafb: vbe_init() failed with -22 [ 2.412814] uvesafb: probe of uvesafb.0 failed with error -22 the system just stops booting until I press a key.
