Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dolphin
I have 2 SCSI hard disk drives. Both have multiple partitions. While running Kubuntu 8.10 alpha 6(installed on disk), dolphin displays all partitions in Places bar but when I click on any of them, it does not mount it, in fact nothing happens. No mount-point directory is created under /media. Same behavior was observed in alpha 5. Dolphin version is 1.1, KDE 4.1.1. I tried both 32bit and 64bit versions of intrepid. The drives are mounted correctly when I do so using live cd but when I install it on the disk, it stops mounting the partitions. If I plug in a USB stick and mount it using device-notifier plasmoid, it is mounted perfectly. ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Dolphin does not mount fixed hard drive - partitions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272435 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
