Nope.

.config/user-dirs.dir:
XDG_DESKTOP_DIR="$HOME/Desktop"
XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR="$HOME/Desktop"
XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR="$HOME/Templates"
XDG_PUBLICSHARE_DIR="$HOME/Public"
XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR="$HOME/Documents"
XDG_MUSIC_DIR="$HOME/"
XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/"
XDG_VIDEOS_DIR="$HOME/Videos"

And the bug doesn't happen in $HOME. I don't understand the code well
enough to figure out why the icons are being scaled ... it's making 16
pixel icons for something. From the parent directory of the directory I
changed to (or the directory I'm changing away from, same thing). I
don't see those icons anywhere. Also, it doesn't happen if I run
"nautilus My Pictures/2001 Pawnee", while it would happen if I navigated
to that directory. It seems that the generating of thumbnails is an
unintended side-effect of something.
