  I have a laptop LG E500.V.APSCG and installed Ubuntu Hardy on it. I had
  a few problems at the beginning since it's a new laptop, but it works
  well now.
  
  One of the few remaining bugs (together with ACPI not working) is that
  pluging in headphones don't mute the laptops speakers.
  
  I've found an interesting thread in the forums which deals exactly with
