Thank you for your prompt reply. I cannot now reproduce the bug even though i had the same problem with the live cd and had to use the recovery option once i had alpha 6 installed (which worked in some cases) up till 2 hours ago. It was only this morning that i thought off turning the wireless off. But now all works well with wireless switch on at boot, strange. Will see what happens further.
