@bvidinli_ehcp, AndrewTheArt Although some people will appreciate the work around it doesn't solve anything and makes you use the open souce ati driver to which most people will not like as they enabled the restricted driver for a reason. Another workaround that works very well is using Windows or going and buying a Mac :)
I guess there is simply nothing Ubuntu can do about a 3rd party restricted closed driver.
