Sub'ing ubuntu-universe-sponsors, this package is in universe.

While we currently have a stable release in intrepid, Debian
experimental has a release candidate. Wouldn't it be better to wait
until the stable version is released? Or do you plan to track upstream
and make sure that the new final gets into intrepid? What are the
reasons why we should update to a new development release at this point?
