Given the fact that the last metakit version of gourmet is about three years old and the apparently sorry state of metakit in general, my motivation to support the switching over from metakit-based recipe collections to the new sqlite format borders on 0. gourmet should be failing more gracefully and output a more meaningful message to the user. I acknowledge that loosing access to a possibly large collection of recipes this way will be tough for those affected. But I trust their numbers will be very small.
