Guys... I'm the author of linSmith and quite by accident found out about the crash. I'm always interested in patches.
However, until now, the only reports of crashes are from the Ubuntu .deb users - There have been a couple of thousand of other downloads (not including the Debian d/l), and no reports of this crash type. Could you please keep me updated on any changes?
