Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Iam working in a Ubuntu Linux 8.04 OS using Firefox 3.0.3 (3.0.3+build1 +nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 0) Iam trying to access an applet's method via javascript but iam getting a "is not a function error". I already declared the applet tag with the mayscript property but is still not working. <html><body> <script> function getSomeValue(){ alert(document.myApplet.getValue()); } </script> <applet id="myApplet" name="myApplet" code="TestApplet.class" archive="TestApplet.jar" width="325" height="325" mayscript="mayscript"> </applet> <input type="button" onclick="getSomeValue()"/> </body></html> ///*** Actual error: document.myApplet.getValue is not a function Is there any way around this problem?
