Public bug reported: I have two eSata drives that are always connected to the computer, but only powered up when I need them. Since the last kernel update 2.6.27-4, They are not detected when I turn on the power. The only way I can get them detected is to plug in a usb thumb drive. Once one of the drives is detected, I can remove the thumb drive, and the other drive is detected.
