I've installed Intrepid alpha 6 with all the updates to date and when I enable compiz (Normal, Extra, or Custom option (when simple-ccsm is installed)), the window titles are not displayed at all.
I'm on a Samsung Q35 with Intel graphics - all non-proprietary drivers. This has always been a problem (I raised a bug about it a long time ago but I can't find it now - it's most likely one of the dupes of this bug).
