OK, this hwinfo thing is not working to well either:

Please tell me which piece of hardware is malfunctioning and which stress test you propose to validate it. Really, my hardware is just working fine as far as I can tell. Unfortunately the flashrom tool does not work either, so I do not have an easy way to reflash the BIOS. Otherwise I would certainly reflash it with u-boot to see if there is any difference.
